2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When the website is accessed, the host automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of access, the page or file requested, the volume of data transferred, the referrer URL, and your browser type and operating system. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website reliably and securely and is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable provision of the website pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the host in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Where personal data is transferred to the USA, this transfer is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Vercel is certified, and additionally on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
3. Cookies and local storage
This website does not use any tracking, analytics or advertising cookies and does not embed any services that evaluate your usage behaviour. Only technically necessary information is stored in your browser (e.g. your acknowledgement of the cookie notice and interface settings). This storage is strictly necessary for the operation of the website you have requested and is therefore exempt from consent pursuant to § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. Consent pursuant to § 25 (1) TDDDG is not required because no non-essential information is stored on or read from your device.
4. Contact and contact forms
If you contact us via a contact form, by email or by telephone, we process the data you provide (in particular your name, company, telephone number, email address and the content of your enquiry) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, otherwise your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Providing the fields marked with * is required in order to process your request; further details are optional.
We store this data until your enquiry has been conclusively dealt with and then delete it, unless statutory retention obligations — for example under commercial or tax law — prevent this.
5. Fonts
For a consistent appearance we use the fonts Inter and IBM Plex Serif, which are hosted locally on our server. When the page is loaded, no connection is made to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts); no personal data is transmitted to third parties in this process.
6. Your rights as a data subject
With regard to your personal data you have the following rights:
- Access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure of your stored data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
7. Withdrawal of your consent
Where processing is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected. An informal message to the contact details above is sufficient to withdraw consent.
8. Right to object
Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority competent for us is:
The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg
Lautenschlagerstraße 20
70173 Stuttgart
https://www.baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de
10. Data security
For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser's address bar. This means the data you transmit to us cannot readily be read by third parties.
11. Currency and amendment of this privacy policy
This privacy policy reflects the current state of publication. As our website develops or due to changed legal or regulatory requirements, it may become necessary to amend this privacy policy.
